A little bit in-betweeny 2.

One of the jobs I’m most looking forward to tackling on BCN 18686 is what might be described as the brightwork. Currently the old girl’s looking rather tired, so once the foundation of welding, blacking, wiring, plumbing is completed in the coming month, I think she deserves a bit of a Spring spruce up. 

It’s this cosmetic stuff, a bit of additional joinery and a lick of paint, that’ll begin to move her back to her prime. I can’t wait to get started!

In looking through my photographs I came across this small set showing my previous boat ‘Onward’ at just the stage of brightwork, you can almost smell the gloss paint coming from the images…
