‘Long Road’ Log III : 19.10.2017

I dropped the Boys at school and headed north to the marina and the boat. My goal simple – to fettle the interior of the Eileen – after the long lay-off of the Summer, a thorough de-junking and clean-thru, wiping away the cobwebs literally and metaphorically.

A contented time. In the contained space of the boat I progressed with satisfying speed. The Long Cabin and galley were scrubbed. The solid fuel stove emptied and readied for lighting. The bathroom and scumbled back cabin returned to gleaming.

With clutter stowed and rubbish removed we came a step further towards the off – YES!
