The Ash Diary 3.

I arrived back from work last friday afternoon to find that the Ash tree I’m photographing for the Ash Diary has been given a pre-Christmas short-back-&-sides by the arboriculturalists currently working in the area.

I wish I’d been home to see how they did it, as some of the cuts are on seemingly the flimsiest of branches, and way, way off the ground!

Todays gallery shows photographs of the denuded tree over the last few days – a Christmas tree, heavy rain, a plump wood pigeon and a stunning sunset all have walk-on parts…
