The last of ‘the lady revealed’!

We made it. It’s a heck of a haul from London, but after a period of well over two months, this morning saw me and M. back at Great Haywood Marina. And 18686 looked grand! The blacking has gone on a treat, defining and protecting her battered hull. Her hard life as a working boat is all to evident in every bump and curve.

Inside too things, as J the Workshop had said, have moved on apace. And, with the main services almost sorted, today we discussed bulkheads and glazing and fine tuning.

She’ll be back in the water – NEXT WEEK! – with luck.

I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking, apologies about the quality of some of them, in my excitement I ended up taking far too many images looking into the sun!?!
