Time to get on the water…

Today I had a very postive text-conversation with the owner of the farm we’re intending to use as our home mooring on the South Oxford. When I say conversation he’s actually a master of gnomic brevity when it comes to texting, after all why use a whole word when a single letter will do?

His last two messages read:

How doing on boat? g

and then later:

N ok still got g

between these two miminalist messages, I think, lies the happy reality that our dream mooring is still available and so I’ve confirmed we’ll take it from the start of April.

Perhaps it’s time to get a few supplies in from the party punt (above) for our first mooring party ?!?
