The List…

(above) Day boats, Walsall Canal

A few days since the purchase of 18686 went through. Still, despite being over 120 miles away from the action, a lot is nonetheless going on. Here’s the list:

  • BWB license renewal
  • gas being ‘plumbed in’ and water heater being fitted
  • hull blacking
  • anodes being fitted
  • plumbing in the water tank, sink & bath[!]
  • completing the lighting circuit and engine electrics
  • new fusebox
  • ongoing ‘stabilising’ of elum [that’s down here in London]
  • background research on 18686, finding out more about the boat builder, the boats owners, the boats history… [also here in London]
